Somebody's Been Eating My Chocolate!

And now it's half gone.....

Sure was good, though. :)

Here at Muddle Mansion, I've been trying to get myself moved into my brand new sewing room. Only problem is - it's not finished yet.

Mr. Muddling installed the new window I wanted in a formerly total brick wall. (He's my hero!) Note what's left of the brick on the ground below.

Saturday and Sunday around here were a total mess! He got it in on Saturday, but after thinking about it decided he'd better redo it. (I'm not the only one around here with perfectionist tendencies.) And rain was forecast for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of this week, which leaves no time at all for a wide open hole in our outer wall.

So bright and early Sunday morning, when we should have been in church, back we went to work on the window project. Actually I just did the running errands part mostly. Mr. Muddling and Daughter's Boyfriend did the actual work part.

The window is now officially IN! Glory to God! Just things like sanding, priming, painting, curtaining to be done now.

And look at the glorious view I have now of Chicken Manor.
But the strain has just been too much. Last night after normal people had gone to bed, I just had to have some sewing. And since I had given away my tea cosy that seemed a logical thing to make. And while I was at it, I made two.
One is an all-covered-up one, and the other is a peek-a-boo one with the spout

and the handle free so the cover doesn't have to be removed to pour tea.I like it! And notice the totally appropriate fabric choice.
I do like Mary Engelbreit designs. Her bright happy colors just make me smile.
And lest you think I've forgotten, I AM still working on this little quilt. It's all together now and I've started to quilt it.
Yippee! I'm beginning to feel a lot more normal now.
Enjoy your day,

Love the new window. Yes I know about your rainy weather, my DH is down there in San Antonio for business. Cute tea cozy, it covers the whole pot so well.
