We've Got Chicks!

Bright and early this morning (WAY tooooo early since Baby Girl's flight did not get in until almost midnight, and even after we got home - there's talking to be done) I had a phone call that the Mail Lady was outside our front door with a box of baby chicks.

Fortunately I already had their habitat ready and waiting for them in the garage.  They are nicely settled in and having a wonderful time, thank you very much.  Both daughters and I have picked up each and every one and told it how wonderful it is.  It's amazing to me how cute and active they are already.  They were hatched yesterday, and here they are - many miles away from their starting point and happily starting their new life.

I really like chickens.  Just in case you didn't know.

I truly hope you have something that gives you as much pleasure as I'm having right now.

Hugs and kisses,

Wow! That looks like so much fun. And isn't life amazing? Thanks for sharing that they were just hatched and now at your place -- really something to think about!

Elaine,
I just love those baby chicks. They are so adorable. I sure wish I had a place to keep chickens. I would love to have a lot. Enjoy them. They are so cute.
