Winners and a New Project

I did not have a very large response to my giveaway on the tissue holders so I've decided to give one to each of the four ladies who left comments on the post:  Susie, Angela, Margaret and Susan.   I hope you enjoy them!

Above are some squares I've been sewing together tonight.  I saw a most interesting tutorial on Stash Manicure this morning for a  Disappearing 16-Patch block.

Of course I had to try it.  Couldn't resist.  Didn't even try.

Here are two of the sixteen patches, cut into quarters and assembled in two possibilities.  There will be more options when I get more blocks made.  You like?

Have you found something interesting to try today?  Hope so!

Hugs and kisses,

Elaine,
What beautiful frabrics and I just love this quilt. The pattern is very pretty. You are so talented and do such wonderful work.

Couldn't resist, sounds good and look what it has produced, they are lovely especially the blend of colours.I saw a "quilt as you go " and having time well not really but I made time I made a square. Life's grand isn't it.

Thank you! This is a busy week and I would love to start something new but I must finish a couple at least. I saw that disappearing technique and I like how yours have turned out.

Oh yes! I like them very much. Sorry Elaine, about the slow response to the pretty tissue holders. I have just now caught up and gotten time to get on the computer and did not know. I am sure there was a lot of interest with others, they probably did not get over here in time. You always do the prettiest work! blessings,Kathleen
