So, turning the oven on and cooking a cherry slab pie seemed like a good idea to me today.
It was.
It really was. I know. I shouldn't have done it.
The other half square triangle quilt top is complete.
I sewed some of the leftover hst's together and will incorporate them into the backing.
Only trouble is, I feel like taking a nap. Too much pie, I guess. ;-) I'm really thankful that I did not have to go any further than the chicken house in this cold.
I do hope you are behaving better that I did today!

I made cake with cherries on top yesterday. Great minds think alike!
I heard there was ice in your area today. That is worse than snow any day.

Cherry slab pie ... I've never made a slab pie ... since pies are my favorite dessert, I may have to try that! ;-)
