So Many Quilts

The Drunkard's Path quilt top is finished.

The Snowballed 16-Patches is very close to being a completed quilt top.

The Pink Siggie Framed Sixteen Patch quilt is a completed top.

Just in case you wondered what I've been doing. I really have intended to be better about posting to the blog. Alas, I haven't done a great job of that.

I was cruising along quilting the DP quilt when I had a major thread jam. Finally got that cleared after blowing a fuse. Then another fuse blew. Then another fuse. So my quilt machine is in the shop. Bummer.

Oh well, gives me time to start another quilt. Or two. I have ideas swirling in my head, they are just not quite ready to come out and play yet.

I did get to see the last of the lunar eclipse (another blood moon) very early Wednesday morning. A cell phone camera does not begin to do it justice.

I hope you're having a good weekend and that things are not breaking (except possibly eggs!) at your house. It's looking like we may get some rain here today, and that is perfectly all right with me. We've had more rain lately than in the past few years, but it still dries out in a hurry, so a little more will help things still growing. The heat of Summer can be brutal for the vegetation, and it's not a lot of fun for most of us humans either. I'm thankful Autumn is beginning to give us little hints that it's on its way!

Hugs and kisses,

Bummer about your machine! Hope it comes back better than ever without costing an arm and a leg! Beautiful projects, Elaine. I love the red 16 patch snowball. Such a great idea!

You've been productive! Hope your machine is back home soon.

We've been getting a lot of rain here too. I'm ready to see a little sunshine.

Oh dear. I hope your machine is home soon.
My but YOU have been busy. Beautiful quilt tops.
I' haven't been blogging as much lately. Maybe once a week. I can't assembly blocks and borders together, bind and blog ALL at the same time. Take all my little brain's power to either sew or to blog. Can't do both.
You take care, dear.

Oooh, I think we saw that moon too -- hubby pointed it out to me while we were driving somewhere -- so pretty! Your quilts look great! I love the 16-patch layout -- I have a bunch of siggy blocks but not enough for a whole quilt -- that 16-patch option would solve the problem!!!

Good to see the progress on the snowball and the siggie quilt.
What a nuisance to have problems with the LA machine, but from what I read in the other post it was easy to fix.
We had a great view of the moon that night. We were driving home from babysitting our grandson and were able to watch it for all of the 2 hour trip.
