Lots of pretty things growing and strolling through the yard. If you look closely you may see a little bit of construction going on out there.
Inside, I've been cutting 2 inch strips. You can see my toes peeking out standing on the wonderful mat I got from my son and his sweet wife last year. It really helps to keep my feet and legs from getting tired when I'm doing those marathon cutting sessions we're all so fond of. The other set of feet on the mat are Lady's. When Mr. Muddling is not at home, she stays very close to me.
She is usually a very big help, but she has been known to nibble on fabric if it tempts her enough. This one obviously did!
The strips are going into a quilt for Miss Ru's new bed. I put a one inch solid black strip in each block. Wait till you see what else she wants in there. Later for that.
And yes, Miss Ru is back home. Glory to God! Thank you so much to all my dear blog friends who prayed for her and who wrote and told me they were sending good wishes her way. It really blessed me and Miss Ru, and Mr. Muddling, too! When she went into the hospital, things did not look good. At all. But God. He truly is faithful to all who will take Him at His Word! There are still challenges to be overcome, but things are certainly looking a lot more hopeful.
And Mary, our other daughter, is home for a visit from New York state!!! Happy days!
Back outside, Bruno is checking the construction to be sure it is done right!
And I spotted this squirrel in the fig tree eating ripe figs. Even after I chased him out of there, he just crossed the fence into the yard behind us and sat there mocking me. I do NOT like squirrels.
John 10:10 says, The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. You know, that's Jesus talking. He wants us to have abundant life. I'm for it! How about you?
I do hope you're having a really good weekend and finding lots to fill you with happiness, 'cause I love you!
Hugs and kisses,
