I have no real reason for including this picture of water in a cabbage leaf except that I like the way it looks.
This, on the other hand, is a pretty good picture of me sometimes. I often feel like the little donkey with a cart full of jobs to do!
I finished the little quilt with the Miss Jump's Scrapbag charm squares. I love the disappearing nine-patch pattern. It is so simple and yet looks so modern. My son is not the one who got it, but he liked it when he saw it Thanksgiving Day. He said it was a masculine looking quilt. Oh brother!

Elaine, this quilt is so so pretty. I love the Scrappy look and like you said it has a modern feel. And it also looks like you washed and crinkled the quilt, the quilting is beautiful.
That is a very hansome quilt, and it does look modern , a terrific out come I would say.
I had to smile with what you said about the donkey photo...I think we can all relate to that feeling. Beautiful quilt! blesssings,Kathleen
I love this quilt! The colors are beautiful.
I'm really trying to catch up with my friends. Love the quilt. Check it off the donkey list. I love that metaphor.
Gorgeous! I love your colors with the turquoise just popping up here and there and the wonderful crinkle you got with the quilting!
D9P is a fun pattern and I love how every one looks different!
I tried to stop by yesterday but got a malware warning-glad its gone!
Hahaha -- Laura Ashley removes all doubt about it being a masculine quilt. It's beautiful Elaine!
Your quilt is so beautiful. I love the colors. I also feel like the donkey pulling the cart. Seems as though this is a very busy time of the year. I hope you have a great week. I enjoyed this posting very much.
