I finished this little boy quilt and it has gone to the grandparents who ordered it for their grandson who is having a birthday on September 5th. I am so glad they like it!
I do so like these prints. I found a seller on ebay who has great deals on these 1930's reproduction fabrics. I have bought a lot.......
What can I say? They make me happy! Oh, and Susan, they have the Civil War reproduction fabrics, too. Just in case you need some.
I got both of the other little boy quilts made into quilt sandwiches and started quilting one of them last night. By the time I stopped (around three this morning) I was about two-thirds of the way through with the quilting. I was on a roll!
It's still way too hot here to be outside much except very early and very late. But that does mean there's more time for sewing!
And there still are some pretty things to see when I do go outside.
Hope you're having a totally wonderful day!!!
Hugs and kisses,

Great finished boy quilt. Is this your own pattern, Elaine?
The new 2 quilts are coming along very nicely.
I am so ready for fall and the plants too.
Elaine, love your progress. I love the colors and the great design. Very nice, Stephanie
The quilts are looking great! I know the feeling of being on a quilting roll. We're still too cold here for gardening, but we did head to the winter beach yesterday.
Ha -- you're my kind of girl -- middle of the night sewing LOL. LOVE that new little boy quilt -- the prints are adorable!
Such a cheerful quilt, I see why they liked it, I would too. You are really quilting your heart out and I can tell you're loving it. Thanks for the link, I'm heading over to check it out.
This reminds me I've been meaning to take pics of my holly hocks. Before we know it they will be gone. Love the quilt. Kid retro fabric is some of my very favorite.
you are just zipping along on the kids quilts. The boy quilt is another nice setting for the 2 rectangle-square.
I love the colors in that quilt. Green is one of my favorites.
