The Dancing Nine Patches quilt is complete! This one went together very quickly, thanks to a stack of nine patches I had ready to go.
This is a free pattern from Bonnie Hunter.
I like it, and I hope the very nice man receiving it tomorrow will like it, too.
I had ordered this flannel fabric a while back with nothing particular in mind for it, and it arrived just in time to be the backing. It is a good quality flannel and that makes me happy. It was on sale from Connecting Threads! The binding is this nice black and white stripe.
We are still getting lots of rain, but the gardens seem to be enjoying it.
I hope your weekend is just bursting with happy things for you.
Hugs and kisses,

What a delightful quilt! It'll be a real blessing to that nice man. ;-) We are getting rain today ... it would have a perfect day to stay inside and stitch, but I've been given orders to rest my eye (possible vitreal detachment ... referred to an ophthalmologist tomorrow and need to avoid eye strain between now and then). Maybe I can do some EPP basting since it really doesn't require my eyes to work too hard. If I can't read and I can't quilt, I've got to find SOMETHING to do! ;-)
I LOVE this quilt! Great for using up those collections of squares that have been previously cut from scraps. This BH pattern is definitely on my "to make" list now!
What a fun pattern! You have two of my all-time favorites right there -- nine-patches and b&w stripey binding. Beautiful Elaine!
What a beauty and I'm sure he'll like it so much. I always love to do the nine patches. Hugs, Love and lots of Blessings, xo
I really like the name Dancing Nine Patches. It suits this quilt so well.
Lots of lovely colour. And I like the fabric strips around each block, too. Love the backing.
I think this will be very much appreciated.
