Winter?

We are having pretty cold nights here, but the days have been beautiful, warm and sunny - perfect in fact for working outside, which is what Mr. Cutie Pie and I have been doing this week. He's taken a week of vacation and we've been working on getting the garden ready to plant. I'll post pictures of that a little later.

It's been really good to have the windows open for a while each day to sort of air out the house, and this new geranium plant I bought the other day is really making happy. You KNOW I like to see flowers.

I'm still working sporadically on the quilt for my sister-in-law. This is the backing I'm sewing on right now. The front is done.

And Bruno is still enjoying "his" new bed. What a hound!

And here's Mr. Sweetie Pie trying to rest, all snuggly warm in our new flannel sheets, after all the hard work he did in the yard.

Enjoy your day!

Hugs and kisses,

Elaine

Oh, to be able to open the windows and let fresh air in. I'd be smiling like Mr. Cutie Pie. Bruno has the right idea. Enjoy the warmth, I'm going to enjoy it through you.

I like to open my windows too for fresh air. And we have an indoor dog too and a big one. The pot with flowers in the window look so healthy.

It looks so nice where you are! We are freezing here in NYC. I can stand the cold, but the winds are what hurts.

Thank you for your lovely comment. It made my day (I had a bad day today). It makes me feel good that people like my work. It was hard for me to give it away, but they were meant to keep the little babies warm so it makes me feel good about it.
