I was looking through my new Country Living magazine last night and ran across a little blurb for a website called, "The World Needs More Pie.com". Of course I had to go and see it. (And seriously - I want some pie. And no, so far I have not made one. The picture above - because of course we cannot blog without adding a picture - is of the dried cherry pie I made a while back.)
Anyway, from there I wandered over to her blog and read the sweetest post about her mother. It's worth the read. Makes me thankful for the things I did right and sorry for the things on which I did not do so great a job.

Thanks for sharing this. Sounds like a great website. My mom is very wise and always knows what to say when I get depressed. Mothers are the greatest.
