Remember, I told you I was quilting this one the other day. Well, here it is in all its glory. I started this one a long time ago - I don't really remember how long. But, it's done and I like it! I think a boy would like it, don't you?
There are some sweet Debbie Mum kitty cats on the back.
This one was also completed this week. This disappearing four patch was pieced by my friend Sandy and quilted by me.
The backing is this red flannel print I was given years ago. It goes together really well.
As I said earlier, I committed to making six quilts for the boys' home. This is five done! Glory to God! There are two more tops pieced by Sandy (what can I say - she is a machine!) that I need to get borders sewn on and backing chosen before I can quilt them, but soon. And yes, I know that is seven, not six, but that's a good thing, isn't it?
Today was Mr. Muddling's and my anniversary. Thirty-two glorious years. We've had trials and struggles just like anyone else, but I can truthfully say - I could not have chosen anyone better to be by my side through them all. He is the love of my life and I am forever grateful for him. We have chosen to celebrate quietly at home this year and he grilled some delicious steaks for us. My kind of celebration!
I do hope you've had a lovely day, full of things you enjoy.
Hugs and kisses,

32 years is a great milestone, especially in our times. We have you beat by 2 years but it is all the same ballpark. It ain't easy but we do it and good comes from it. I'm learning all the time about how to be a better person. I hope it translates into my marriage. you know Love the quilts. Seeing what you do is happiness.
I laughed when you said your friend if a machine Elaine -- YOU are a quilting machine! Great work. And happy belated anniversary!
