My New Baby Has a New Home

Remember a little earlier when my sweet neighbor gave me this old sewing machine cabinet? Well, Mr. Cutie Pie has been painting it and painting it.

Today I had enough of waiting for it to reach his standard of perfection, so I put my little machine into it. And yes, Chloe did have to supervise.
Doesn't it look happy! I'm happy. I've moved it into the dining room where I have some progress laid out on the dining table. I've started sewing the blocks together and I thought it would be easier not to have to walk from room to room to get it done.

Of course there's also something to be said for the fact that there's less distance between table and sewing machine so I'm less likely to mess it up. ;)

It is beastly hot outside, so it's a good time to stay inside and sew.

Hope you're doing something fun!

Hugs and kisses,

LOVE the little table! Just the right thing for sewing in another room. I have been playing in my sewing room, moving all the furniture about delaying writing school reports!

What a great cabinet you have there and I am respectful of your supervisor there. Chloe has a very important job. I'll be she got tired and had to nap at some point. :) Friend, would you check out those killer blocks!!! Wow! Diggin' that.
