First of all, a look at what I actually finished in 2010. Sometimes I surprise myself. I am not altogether content with anything I made. I think, from reading what you all write, that is pretty normal. I can see every little error I made. (And every big one, too!)
Oh, well, on to the next. I am NOT a perfectionist. I honestly try to do the best I can with each thing I make and do. I do not always succeed, but then - if I did I would be perfect, and we all know I'm not that!
And as to today - - - - Mr. Muddling has given me a really nice gift. Today I have a new sewing machine scheduled for delivery!!! As my younger daughter would say, "Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" It's a Janome 1600P-DB for the qulting frame, and it goes really fast! I will really have to be careful. I want to keep ALL my fingers.
I am so thankful for so many things. Most of all, I'm thankful that my name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life. I'm thankful for my wonderful family and friends, for the opportunity to fulfill my creative urges, and for those creations to actually be a blessing to someone else just fills me with joy!
I hope there are lots of things today that are giving you joy, too!
Hugs and kisses,

Yippy skippy, a new Janome, what fun you will have. Your collage of finished quilts is most impressive and inspiring and to know most were given as gifts makes me smile. Well done!
I treated myself to a Janome Horizon last year - I am very pleased with it. Have fun with your new one. I love the snowball blocks - it's amazing the difference it makes to the appearance of your squares.
Awesome quilt, awesome hubby, and super awesome gift! Karmen
What a awesome quilt. Your squares are so lovely and I love the fabric. You are so talented and do such beautiful work.
Have a very happy New Year!
You had a very productive year. As far as perfectionism goes, there are more of us making quilts for the fun and pure pleasure than for bragging rights on a perfect quilt. I've not made a perfect one yet (in 52 years of quilting).
I'm so thankful for the gift of creativity, love of color, and patience to make beautiful things, and for internet friends like you who do the same.
Wow -- Just look at all those beautiful quilts you've made this year. And a new sewing machine -- WooHoo! Just think what next year's collage is going to look like!
Wow you were productive! Love the newest quilt-fabulous colors in a great design!
A new sewing machine-the perfect gift!
Wow! Your quilts are gorgeous!
Thank you for popping over to my blog and encouraging me with my garden! I hope you have fun with your seeds when they arrive!!!

Give thanks, with a (smiling) thankful heart , so nice to read your post today.
How many stitches you did in 2010! And now you will get even more done with your new toy! Hurray for you! Blessings,Kathleen
I love seeing all the projects together. Quite an accomplishment. And how exciting about the new sewing machine! I am jumping up and down with joy for you.
Your quilts are just beautiful. Congratulations on so many wonderful finishes...and on the new Janome. I know you will enjoy that.
I was just looking at one of my books on a collection of Amish quilts and noticing that the cover quilt had lots of areas where the seams didn't line up -- it was still beautiful. I think we do need to be more appreciative of the quilts we create -- I find that when I blog I want to point out things that didn't go right in the making of the quilt.
